The Mosaic community (themosaic.org), along with many partnering organizations and churches of the Downtown Eastside, is hosting a street party celebration to honour National Aboriginal Day, and we would like to invite you and your community to come and join us in celebration of Indigenous cultures and history.
This year, our street party will be on Sunday, June 18th from 2-6pm, and will include a salmon barbeque, First Nations dancers and drummers, children’s activities, and artisans booths. We will be closing the street on Princess Ave between East Pender and East Hastings for this celebration.
