Five-time Grammy Award-winners, The Blind Boys of Alabama join us for a spectacular holiday show, performing songs from the “Talkin’ Christmas!” album as well as the band’s previous Grammy-winning Christmas recording, “Go Tell It on the Mountain,” along with Blind Boys’ Gospel classics.
The Blind Boys of Alabama are recognized worldwide as living legends of gospel music. Celebrated by The National Endowment for the Arts and the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS) with Lifetime Achievement Awards, inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame they have attained the highest levels of achievement in a career that spans over 60 years.
They are known for crossing multiple musical boundaries with their remarkable work with songwriters such as Ben Harper, Eric Clapton, Prince, and Tom Waits.
