Joey is an international business advisor, impact investor, and mentor who invests in people’s lives in a way that encourages personal and social change.
As a critical thinker and strategist, Joey has spent the last 20+ years working with a wide range of people in organizations ranging from startups to multi-nationals throughout the Americas, Asia and Europe. He has developed and managed multi-million dollar business accounts in the packaging industry, and as a partner helped lead a start-up company to achieve significant growth and a successful divestiture.
He is a Founding Partner of Itinera Ventures, a private investor group that invests both relationally and financially into leaders of viable social impact businesses who are catalyzing positive change in Southeast Asia and beyond. An avid world traveller, Joey has consulted with a number of start-ups, small and medium-sized enterprises and non-profits internationally.
He currently sits on the board of International Justice Mission Canada, a global organization that protects the poor from violence in the developing world. Joey is passionate about people and our collective potential. He is an outdoors enthusiast who has an adventurous spirit.
What is Business by the Book?
The first Wednesday of every month is Business By The Book, where people from the business community come to be inspired and empowered by amazing leaders who fearlessly share their triumphs and tribulations and how their faith in God has positively impacted their personal and business lives. It’s a great place to connect with others over a quick lunch while getting equipped by some of the best leaders in the marketplace. Everyone is welcome.
