This month’s Speaker at A Rocha’s Brooksdale Environmental Centre is Paul Kariya, Executive Director of the Independent Power Producers Association of BC. We are proud to be to have Paul Kariya in our Brooksdale Environmental Centre Speakers Series that highlights ‘environmental stewardship’ with a personal element.
 
Topic:
“Challenges of environmental stewardship in BC.  Where energy, water, salmon intersect”

Time: 7pm – 9pm, Wednesday September 25, 2013
Thirty minute presentation followed by question and answer session.
Delicious dessert, fair trade coffee and tea provided

Speaker Bio:

Dr Paul Kariya is Executive Director of the Independent Power Producers Association of British Columbia, an industry association helping to develop the renewable energy sector in Western Canada.  Paul continues at Trinity Western University, in Langley BC as an adjunct faculty member in the Master of Arts Leadership program.  Prior to this, Paul was the Executive Director of Pacific Salmon Foundation (PSF), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the protection, conservation and recovery of Pacific salmon based in Vancouver BC. Paul Kariya is also an A Rocha International Trustee.
