To continue our journey of learning more about what refugees new-to-Canada face as they make their homes here, we will be showing the National Film Board documentary “19 Days” on Saturday, September 30, at 7:00 pm.
This short (25 minute) film “follows several refugee families during their first 19 days in Canada, as they navigate an unfamiliar terrain that has suddenly become their home.”
The showing will be followed by a panel discussion with speakers who recently arrived in Canada as refugees.
