DVD on Reinhold Niebuhr

Some of us know Reinhold Niebuhr as the original author of the (grace-based) serenity prayer; others of us as a social gospeller and then “Christian realist” in a reluctant, self-critical move from pacifism to an armed resistance to Naziism; and others of us as one who drew on Erik Erikson for reconstruction when his debilitating strokes rendered it impossible to carry on a life of social activism and, he faced deep depression  . . . (falling into helplessness but recovering to be prophetic from the sidelines).
