In response to the 2015 international climate negotiations in Paris and ongoing opportunities for bold leadership on climate change, A Rocha International, the Lausanne Creation Care Network, Young Evangelicals for Climate Action, and a number of others are organizing a Global Day of Prayer for Climate Action on Tuesday, April 5, 2016.
On this day and throughout the corresponding week, individuals and organizations with members all over the world will come together to offer a prayer–either private or corporate–for faithful leadership on climate. We believe that prayer can provide expansive common ground for Christians to approach climate change with seriousness, dedication, and hope. Find out more here.
Here in Vancouver, Earthkeepers will be hosting an evening of prayer on April 5 at First Baptist Church, in downtown Vancouver.
Enter through the red doors off the back lane, meeting will be upstairs in pre-teen room.
