Ladies, join us for our sixth annual Hope for Dalit Women fundraising dinner. Funds will go towards vocational training for Dalit women.
Dalit women face a lifetime of struggle and oppression due to their social status and gender. Tonight, we want to celebrate their human worth and beauty. Come and learn more about Dalit women and the every day challenges they and their children face. You can help bring hope into their lives.
Enjoy delicious Indian food and henna, shop for crafts made by Dalit women and learn how Dalit Freedom Network is empowering the Dalits through education, economic development and spiritual transformation. Our guest speaker this evening is from Chennai, India and works with our women’s projects.
Funds raised at this event will go towards training Dalit women, rescued from temple prostitution.
