In this seminar, we will look at how same-sex attraction is viewed in the church and in our culture today. We also aim to equip friends and caregivers to walk with those who are experiencing unwanted same-sex attraction and desire to follow Christ in wholeness and integrity.
Key topics include:
- Exploring God’s design for sexuality
- Investigating biblical perspectives
- Shifts in the cultural landscape
- Understanding sexual identity and scripts
- The Church’s call to be a healing community
Presenters:
Tony Dolfo-Smith, Executive Director, Journey Canada
Toni, since 1991, has been involved in setting up and supporting healing ministries in Canada and around the world, including Hong Kong, Latvia, Turkey, South Africa and the Philippines. He is also a freelance artist in Vancouver.
Mardi Dolfo-Smith, Discipleship Pastor, North Shore Alliance Church
Mardi has been ministering to those struggling with sexual and relational brokeness since 1991. She graduated from Regent College (MA Old Testament) and UBC (BSc Microbiology). Mardi is married to Tony and they are parents of four young adults.
