Something is shifting in the lower mainland. There is a definite move of the Holy Spirit to unite the Church in an effort to empower students to live for Jesus in their own worlds. Last year, through communication in Youth Leader Hubs and student rallying in part through The Chapel Movement, student-led Alphas were launched in 50 high schools across the lower mainland (that’s over half). This unprecedented level of cooperation between ministries to see students from different churches work together in the real world is leading to so many amazing stories of students stepping out in faith & unreached students hearing about Jesus and responding.
In January of 2018 we are praying and believing for student-led (& youth pastor overseen) invitational high school ministries in every public high school in the GVRD such as The Alpha Youth Series. In order to see this happen, we’ve realized that this vision needs to be cast to a wider audience in order to form a network capable of supporting something this size and with this much potential.
Who should come? Anyone who is passionate about the next generation! Students, Parents, Professionals, Pastors (Youth and Senior) or anyone else looking to hear about the plan and potentially partner with us in a financial, intercessory or practical capacity.
