A Fundraising Concert for Refugee Sponsorship!
The Regional Ecumenical Sponsorship Team (REST) of North Vancouver is sponsoring 7 more people to come to Canada! These people are from Iraq, Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Syria. 100% of funds raised will be used for housing and food for these newcomers during their first year in Canada.
Musical performers include:
- Stephen King, a contemporary folk musician from North Vancouver
- St. John Singers, a vocal ensemble from North Vancouver
- Talietha & Ben, a jazz duo covering standards old and new
- Lynley Lewis, a multi-talented pianist, singer, and choir director
Be a part of something wonderful by joining our fundraiser! There will be excellent musicians, a bake sale, silent and live auction. All ages welcome. Children under 15 can bring a friend for the price of 1 ticket (2 for 1).
