The purpose of the Benefit Concert is to raise awareness for the need to support Missionary Families in transition and to raise funds for sending Missionary Kids (MKs) to a summer Re-Entry Retreat.

Carolyn Arends with Spencer Capier

Carolyn has released 11 albums and is the author of 3 critically-acclaimed books. She is known for songs and books that stir the soul, and a warm, engaging style that leave her audiences feeling like they’ve found a new best friend. In addition to her busy touring and speaking schedule, Carolyn is an adjunct professor at ACTS Seminary, Pacific Life Bible College and Columbia Bible College. She is also the Director of Education for Renovaré, a wide-reaching organization that encourages and nurtures spiritual renewal. She lives in Surrey, BC with her husband, Mark, and their children Benjamin and Bethany.

Spencer Capier is Carolyn’s longtime musical partner. He is equally proficient on violin, mandolin, acoustic and electric guitar, and the always-intriguing bouzouki.
