The Country They Call Life: A Retreat for Pastors
“Don’t let yourself lose me. Nearby is the country they call life,” writes the poet Rainer Maria Rilke. Perceived congregational expectations, people-pleasing addictions, and activist tendencies all conspire to woo pastors away from their Homeland to a country not-called-life. Through Word and words, music and image, reflection and prayer, this retreat will provide clergy a refresher for their souls.
