THE THIRD THIRD OF LIFE

Friday, Sep 27 at 7:30pm – 9:00 pm

The Bookstore is pleased to present an evening public lecture with Walter C. Wright, Jr., Executive Director of the Max De Pree Center for Leadership in Pasadena, California and former president of Regent College. He holds a PhD from Fuller Theological Seminary and has many years of experience in mentoring and relational leadership. Wright will be speaking on his latest book, The Third Third of Life: Preparing For Your Future published by InterVarsity Press. A book signing will follow the talk.

ABOUT THE BOOK

A generation is aging in unprecedented numbers. And that same generation is asking questions about the future. For many, retirement at sixty-five is not financially possible. For others, the idea of thirty or more years of unproductive time is simply unappealing. We want to be useful.

How will we spend the third third of our lives?

Walter Wright has found a model for living the next thirty years of his life in Max De Pree. This book is a result of their conversations and intentional questions about the path forward.
