Our January’s breakfast will focus on the ethical trials currently facing Canadians working in medicine and medical fields.
While abortion in Canada has been legal since the early 1970s, medically assisted dying – or euthanasia – was legalized this year. In the meantime, genetic engineering has become an international trade of exceptional proportions.
Come meet a Pharmacist, a Doctor and a Geneticist as they discuss how their faith engages these growing ethical and moral challenges.
We will discuss the implications of these landmark decisions and their most recent developments, and the challenges it poses to medical professionals who wish to remain faithful to their religious beliefs.
