Why do some people stop believing in Jesus? How can strong advocates of the Christian faith―even those who once served as pastors and seminary professors―choose to abandon their faith and become advocates for atheism?
Dr. Paul Chamberlain has been asking these very questions while completing his latest book. In partnership with ACTS Seminaries and MinistryLift, Dr. Chamberlain invites you to an engaging evening of good questions and good thinking at our next Fireside Apologetics event. The evening will include a presentation from Dr. Chamberlain, a panel discussion, and a chance for the audience to ask questions.
Registration is required, but the event is free of charge. You can choose to participate on March 16, 2017 in Langley, BC (onsite at ACTS Seminaries or online via live-stream) or on March 23 in Richmond, BC (onsite at TWU Richmond). The starting time for both evenings is 7:30 p.m. (PST) and the event will last for approximately 90 minutes.
Questions related to the event can be directed to Liisa Pollki (ACTS Seminaries).
Questions related to registration can be directed to Keith Reed (MinistryLift).
Paul Chamberlain, PhD, works actively with Apologetics Canada and teaches in the areas of Christian Apologetics, Ethics, and Philosophy of Religion. Dr. Chamberlain is currently completing his fifth book which addresses a number of pointed critiques of Christianity being made by the recent wave of former Christian academics and church leaders promoting atheism.
