The Glory of the Organ, a series of four concerts featuring organ repertoire spanning five centuries, with the Cathedral’s own music director, organist and composer Denis Bédard, guest organist Rachel Alflatt, the Cathedral choirs and musicians, and international concert organist and composer Hans Uwe Hielscher.All performances except those with choirs will be visible on a giant screen at the front of the Cathedral.
I attended yesterday an organ concert at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Vancouver. Although sceptical about contemporary music, I was impressed by your ‘Three Pieces for Trumpet and Organ (Saxophone).’ What a beautiful music! Thank you so very much.
