Guerrillas said, “Your kids are yours until they’re 10. Then they’re ours.”
They had a 9-year-old son.
Is any sacrifice too great to protect your family? A brand new production, created by theatre artists at Trinity Western University, shares the real-life experiences of refugees to Canada. Five actors transform into multiple characters in this unforgettable journey, knit together by verbatim testimony and original music.
Discover the personal, human stories hidden beneath the headlines. From the Mennonite immigrants who fled Europe after World War II, to the current global refugee crisis, the stories in disPLACE offer a unique glimpse into the bonds that tie all of us together.
Each performance is followed by an optional talkback.
