We will take an honest look at what pulls us apart in marriage and how we can turn towards each other in meaningful ways for a richer, deeper relationship.
We’ll be drawing from some of our favourite authors, John and Julie Gottman, Gary Thomas, Mike Mason, and others, as we explore the art of marriage. Our goal is to seek a glimpse of God’s heart for beauty in the midst of complexity.
About the Presenters
Randy and Hannah have been married for over 20 years and have three amazing kids. They love biking around Vancouver, traveling, gardening, great stories and living life to the full. As a family, they’ve survived road trips to NYC, California, and PEI, as well as a trip to China to work with abandoned children with disabilities. They know the importance of commitment and the hard work it takes to stay happily married in the midst of daily pressures.
Randy has been working with premarital and married couples for over 15 years. He is accredited with Enrich Canada as a facilitator, trained as a Gottman Educator, and ordained with the C&MA, with seven years experience as a pastor.
Hannah has taught Music for Young Children for 14 years, with hundreds of students coming though her studio. She is known for her warm heart and straight talk.
Together they have experience working with all types of couples in marriage preparation and marriage enrichment (i.e. cross cultural, second marriages, inter-faith, cohabitating). They continue to learn how to face the complexities of marriage and turn to each other.
