When communities and ancestral lands are threatened by large natural resource developers and powerful organizations, who will stand by the inhabitants and give them hope and help? When fragile ecosystems are at risk of being destroyed by the harmful social and environmental consequences of industrial agriculture and mining, who will be there to defend them?
This interactive workshop with Development & Peace-Caritas Canada will focus on social justice and global solidarity with our brothers and sisters in the Global South, guided by Catholic social teaching.
Everyone is welcome— bring a friend and find out how we can do our part as citizens of the world!
