Meet Our Guest Speaker:
Mats Lindgren, 20-year-old professional hockey player, 2022 NHL 4th-round draft pick by the Buffalo Sabres, currently signed with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, the AHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Mats began playing hockey at the age of 5. At just 15, he was drafted 7th overall to the Kamloops Blazers in the WHL and soon after represented Team Canada at the Youth Olympics in Switzerland, earning a bronze medal.
While Mats’ journey through elite hockey has been marked by discipline and perseverance, he is quick to point to his faith in God as the true foundation of his life and success. Through challenges and victories alike, Mats lives to give God the glory—playing not just for the game but for a greater purpose.
