While the institutional church has had its shares of challenges over the last decade, many Christians are rediscovering the Biblical command to ‘love your neighbor’ as a central aspect of their faith. By engaging in ordinary and often unimpressive practices of loving presence, believers are deepening their own spiritual formation and actively participating in God’s mission in very tangible and hyper-local ways.

This renewed emphasis on what is often called “neighboring” recaptures a vital dimension of discipleship and offers a meaningful path for living out the teachings of Jesus in daily life where we live and inviting others to join us.

Over six monthly sessions, learn through teaching, stories, and practical exercises:

  • Biblical foundations for the practice of neighbouring
  • Practical skills for engaging with people on your street, in your building, and across your community
  • Stories and examples from individuals and churches who have embraced neighbouring as a way of life
  • Opportunities to reflect and act on how God may be calling you to love those around you

This course is for:

  • Followers of Jesus who want to connect faith with everyday life
  • Church leaders seeking to inspire and equip their congregations
  • Individuals longing for deeper, more intentional relationships with neighbours
  • Anyone curious about simple, practical ways to live out Jesus’ command to “love your neighbour”

Taught by people with practical, lived experience in engaging in their neighbourhoods and developing meaningful relationships with their neighbours.
