Since 2007, Inner Hope Youth Ministries has been a place of hope, safety, and growth for youth and families in East Vancouver impacted by intergenerational trauma. Rooted in long-term relationships, our community is made up of an amazing group of young people and their families, with more than 85% identifying as Indigenous.
When you participate in the Ride, you’re helping sustain The Home – a safe, welcoming space that is not only for 4–5 youth who reside there to find stability and growth, but also for the family and friends who gather and find connection there. Multi-generational gatherings further enrich this space, strengthening bonds across age and culture. More than just a place to live, The Home is where young people find belonging and care. Located in a friendly neighborhood close to transit, schools, and community resources, it’s a nurturing environment shaped by the presence of a dedicated live-in Housing Team and the warmth of the youth who fill it with life: cooking meals, supporting each other, and welcoming friends and family. At The Home, healing happens through community, and hope takes root.
