Join us on Wednesdays during this year’s Summer Programs to enjoy conversations with members of our summer faculty. The professors and topics are different each week, so there’s always something new to explore.
TOPIC
This week we’ll be joined by a British Anglican, Isabelle Hamley, and a North American Anglican, Jim Salladin. Join us at noon in Room 100 for a globe-spanning conversation about a trans-Atlantic tradition. Feel free to bring your lunch.
SPEAKERS
Isabelle Hamley is Theological Advisor to the House of Bishops and a regular contributor to the BBC. She has worked in the UK criminal justice system in the UK, and has also served as chaplain to the Archbishop of Canterbury. This summer she is teaching Being Human in God’s World: How the Old Testament Helps Us Understand Our Humanity in a Complex & Broken World.
Jim Salladin currently serves as rector of Emmanuel Anglican Church in New York City. He has also worked at Anglican churches in Vancouver, BC, and London, England. This summer he is teaching Anglican History & Theology.
