The Christian Ashram is a unique ‘spiritual retreat’ originated by the late missionary evangelist Stanley Jones in India in 1930. Dr. Jones adapted the Indian practice of taking seekers “Ah” (apart from) “Shram” (hard work) for a time of spiritual instructions and renewal. This years’ B.C. Christian Ashram will be held at Summit Park on the Summit Pacific College campus in Abbotsford, B.C.
The theme this year is Embracing the Jericho Road, and guest speakers include John Cox of Jericho Road Church in Port Alberni / Parksville, B.C., Peter Klenner of All Saints Community Church in White Rock, B.C., and Tyler Gibson of St. Simon’s Church, North Vancouver
