Please join us for Bible Saturday on October 28 as Professor Drew Lewis explores the various ways God appears to individuals in the Bible.
ABOUT THE TOPIC
Divine encounters are varied and surprising, happening through clouds, in trees, in the dark of night, and in the heat of the day. We will explore what these similarities and differences tell us about the relationship between God and the Israelites—and our response as Christians after the incarnation and in the 21st century.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Andrew Zack (Drew) Lewis (PhD St. Andrews) teaches biblical languages and Old Testament at Regent. He is the author of Approaching Job (Cascade Companions, 2017) and Read Him Again and Again: Kierkegaard, Vischer, and Barth on Job (Pickwick, 2014).
ABOUT BIBLE SATURDAYS

Bible Saturdays are public events open to all, and no registration is required. Participants are encouraged to support Regent Bookstore in its efforts to host thoughtful and formative conversations.
