Join us on Wednesdays during this year’s Summer Programs to enjoy conversations with members of our summer faculty. The professors and topics are different each week, so there’s always something new to explore.

Topic

This week, Old Testament scholar Aubrey E. Buster and New Testament scholar Madison N. Pierce will take your biblical studies questions.

Join us at noon in Room 100, and feel free to bring your lunch.

Speakers

Aubrey E. Buster is Associate Professor of Old Testament at Wheaton College. Her research focuses on the Psalms, Chronicles, Ezra-Nehemiah, Daniel, and the Dead Sea Scrolls. Aubrey is the author of Remembering the Story of Israel: Historical Summaries and Memory Formation in Second Temple Judaism (Cambridge University Press, 2022).

Madison N. Pierce is an Associate Professor of New Testament at Western Theological Seminary and the author of Divine Discourse in the Epistle to the Hebrews. She is also the New Testament Editor for Reviews of Biblical and Early Christian Studies and a co-host of The Two Cities podcast.

Format

Wednesday Lunchtime Conversations are offered onsite at Regent College. These events are open to the public, and no registration is required.

While these lunchtime events will not be available online, many of the faculty participants are also delivering Evening Public Lectures that will be livestreamed and available for a limited time on Regent’s YouTube channel. Visit rgnt.net/live to learn more!
