Most of us know ourselves to be distracted and anxious about many things, and it is tempting to settle into a kind of defeated status quo in our prayer lives. The Psalms wonderfully challenge this half-heartedness. During our day together, we will focus on three Psalms (61–63) which are entirely realistic about the human condition and yet at the same time provide us with an expansive vision of what it means to live whole-heartedly before God. <!–
