Welcome to the first Business by the Book event of the season! It’s going to be an incredible evening of connection, learning, delicious food, and exploring how faith can powerfully impact our work and business lives.
Come after work, a light dinner buffet will be provided. Come expecting and be nourished and refreshed.

John Neate
John’s coffee career began in 1979, and he founded JJ Bean Coffee Roasters in 1996. Started with a small outlet on Granville Island, JJ Bean has expanded to become a prominent coffee chain with locations in Vancouver and Toronto. Known for its premium coffee and commitment to customer service, JJ Bean has received numerous awards and accolades. John’s commitment to providing a great coffee experience and honoring people through coffee has helped JJ Bean become a successful and beloved coffee brand.
David Robertson
David Robertson, a Canadian chef with nearly 20 years of experience, has built a reputation for his passion and expertise in the culinary industry. Trained in classical French fine dining, he has traveled extensively to expand his skills and knowledge. With numerous competition successes, including a Gold medal in the 1996 Culinary Olympics, David’s love for food and teaching led him to open the Dirty Apron Cooking School in partnership with his wife Sara.
