Peace, Passion & Profits: Great Business from the Midst of Personal Chaos
Richard Scott is the president of Clarity Business Strategies Inc (Clarity), a coaching, training and consulting practice that is a several time winner of international awards. As a leading FocalPoint Certified Business Coach, international trainer, presenter and speaker, Rich works with owners and leaders in technical heavy fields around the systems and changes required for growing their organizations.
Less than a decade ago, while juggling a career in commercial finance that included a significant conflict with a partner over the sale and integration of a successful business to a national firm, the birth of a second child, the management of a residential rental renovation project and the completion of a three year executive management course at UBC, he was struck with the news his wife had colon cancer.
As a person with strong faith in God, it was out of this chaos and difficulty that Rich was able to find a deeper personal peace and a new passion that lead to formation and success of Clarity.
When he isn’t working, Rich enjoys skiing, mountain biking, running and soccer. He has been married to his wife Tricia for over 15 years, they have two children and in live in beautiful Langley, British Columbia, Canada.
