Creative Director of Noodle Wave Media
Roy Chong is the Creative Director of Noodle Wave Media, a boutique marketing agency focussed on creating engaging web content that helps small to medium sized business owners build brand equity.
The foundation for Roy’s creative endeavours was laid spending over 11 years as a professional music producer. His talent for composing pop, hip-hop and r&b music became highly sought after by major label artists in Canada, Korea and the US. Ultimately his passion for music led him to New York where he was signed to a production company and worked with top hip-hop producers who’s credits include works with Jay-z, 50 Cent, Nas, The Notorious B.I.G, Beastie Boys and more.
Spiritually convicted to escape the pitfalls of the music industry, Roy went back to school to top up his BCIT Marketing Diploma, this time graduating with a Commerce Degree from Royal Roads University.
In 2010, Roy launched Noodle Wave Media. The central tenet of the company is focussed on empowering businesses owners to convert their knowledge and expertise into engaging web content designed to reach business goals. In just four years Roy has leveraged his unique artistic background and passion for creative problem solving to build Noodle Wave into a flexible agency ready to meet the various marketing and creative needs for any industry. With 30% growth year-over-year, Roy and his talented team at Noodle Wave Media are excited to see what God has in store in the coming years.
Outside of his role as Creative Director, Roy enjoys spending time with his wife Helene and their new golden retriever puppy Jolie. Roy & Helene lead a Coastal Church life group from their home and love seeing God’s work in action. Roy also leads a men’s business catalyst group.
Although music is less of a priority for Roy, you still might catch him cooking up some beats on his spare time.

What is Business by the Book?
The first Wednesday of every month is Business By The Book, where people from the business community come to be inspired and empowered by amazing leaders who fearlessly share their triumphs and tribulations and how their faith in God has positively impacted their personal and business lives. It’s a great place to connect with others over a quick lunch while getting equipped by some of the best leaders in the marketplace. Everyone is welcome.
Time and Location
Business by the Book is held at the FortisBC Centre located at 1111 West Georgia in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Upon arrival you will be welcomed by one of our friendly Business by the Book greeters who will direct you to where you want to go. Tickets are available upon arrival for $15 each, or they can be purchased online prior to the event for $12.
