What is the gala?
A joyful event to celebrate Camp Artaban’s 90th birthday and to raise funds for 2014 and beyond 

When is the Gala?
Friday October 4, 2013, at 6:30pm 

Where is it located?
In the lovely Trattoria Hall at the Italian Cultural Centre, 3075 Slocan Street at Grandview Highway (East 12th Avenue) in Vancouver
• To come by Skytrain, get off at Renfrew Station and walk two blocks west 
• To come by car from downtown Vancouver, follow 12th Ave east past Nanaimo Street and turn right on Slocan Street 
• To come by car from Highway 1, take Grandview Highway exit, continue west on Grandview Highway, and turn left on Slocan Street 
There is ample free parking.

What is the attire?
Dress up a little!

What is the ticket price?
Tickets are $75 each, and a $25 tax receipt will be issued after the event. Payment must be made in advance by cheque (payable to Camp Artaban), or by cash, VISA or MasterCard. No tickets will be sold at the door. 

When do ticket sales begin?
Tickets sales begin Friday September 6th. Due to the size of the venue, which was generously donated for the event, only 120 tickets are available. We believe they will sell very quickly. To avoid disappointment please purchase your tickets as soon as possible.

How can tickets be purchased?

• Call the Camp Artaban office at 604-980-0391. Leave a message and a volunteer will return your call and do the credit card transaction.
• Pay by credit card (in person or by phone), or pay by cash or cheque at: 
o Holy Trinity Anglican Church | 1440 West 12th Avenue, Vancouver 
o St. Cuthbert Anglican Church | 11601 82nd Avenue, Delta

Can I pick up my ticket at the door on event day?
Yes. When you pay by phone with a credit card through Camp Artaban, Holy Trinity or St. Cuthbert’s, you may pick up your ticket at the event. 

Can I purchase a table?
Yes. There are 10 seats per table.

What happens at the Gala?
The doors open at 6:30pm, and there will be time to visit with old and new friends, enjoy live acoustical music, view Artaban photos, enter the door prize draw, and bid on fantastic Silent Auction items before dinner. 
Dinner is served at 7:30pm, followed by a special program. Afterward, enjoy dancing, more mingling and laughter, and a brightly-lit 90th Birthday cake. 

What are the menu choices?
A buffet dinner will be served with chicken, salmon and meatless entrees, salads and vegetables, and the Trattoria’s renowned Italian pastries for dessert. 

How will the monies raised be used?
The funds raised will go into Camp Artaban’s general fund toward reducing the debt to the Diocese. For detailed information on Camp Artaban’s suspension of operations for 2013, please visit the Camp Artaban website, campartaban.com.
