Multi-platinum selling and GRAMMY® winning group Casting Crowns will hit the road this holiday season for the It’s Finally Christmas Tour, featuring special guest Hannah Kerr. Presented by Compassion International, the tour takes its name from the band’s 2017 Christmas EP It’s Finally Christmas (Beach Street/Reunion) and will give audiences a chance to see one of the most celebrated bands in Christian music showcase songs from this album and their previous seasonal offering, Peace On Earth, as well as some of the group’s biggest hits, setting the stage for an unforgettable Christmas experience. Ticket information for the It’s Finally Christmas Tour may be found at CastingCrowns.com/tour.
“Christmas has become clouded with so many different distractions that it’s easy for us to forget to stop and take time to think about the true meaning – how God saved the world through his Son, and the humble way in which he came,” says Casting Crowns lead singer Mark Hall. “So we are excited to head out this Christmas season and celebrate what is genuinely glorious about this time of year. It’s going to be an incredible night of fun and worship. We’ll be singing some familiar songs, but our hope is that folks might hear some of them as though it’s the first time and recapture the real heart of Christmas.”
With more than 10 million records sold, Casting Crowns has held the position of Billboard’s top-selling act in Christian music since 2007. The band continues to impact audiences with their powerful live shows, having performed for more than six million fans. In addition, the band recently received its seventh GRAMMY Award nomination and has crossed over a milestone of more than 100,000 child sponsorships generated through Casting Crowns’ concerts.
