CLABC Conference 2016
Theme: Building Bridges
The 2016 Conference, hosted by the North Shore of CLABC, will be focused on the bridges we build between our libraries and our congregation. Some of these bridges we build with our children and youth. Others under consideration for workshops are bridges with the handicapped, or with those with Alzheimer’s or Dementia. Check back for more details as they come available.
Jason Byassee, author and holder of the Butler Chair in Homiletics and Biblical Hermeneutics at Vancouver School of Theology, will address our theme. He was previously senior pastor of Boone United Methodist Church in Boone, North Carolina.
There will be ample opportunities to network, to purchase new books from our vendors and to browse the book exchange.
Friday evening there will be Pre-Conference tours of at least one library following a restaurant dinner for those who are interested. The cost of the dinner is not included in the registration, and further details of time and location will be available with the release of the brochure in mid-February.
