Immediately before the National Conference, CLF is excited to be hosting an Academic Symposium at the Peter A. Allard School of Law, University of British Columbia. CLF members are invited to attend the Symposium (taking place on Thursday, September 26).
The Shape of Freedom Symposium seeks to contribute to the development of a Canadian theory of freedom in our constitutional jurisprudence. More details about the theme of the Symposium can be found in the backgrounder here. The Symposium is part of CLF’s annual Symposium on Religion, Law, and Human Rights, and will build on the momentum generated from previous symposiums, which have featured some of Canada’s leading scholars, practitioners, and jurists, including four former Supreme Court Justices.
Registration is separate from the National Conference and is for in-person attendance at Peter A. Allard School of Law (UBC) from 8:30am to 5:30pm.
