You are warmly invited to join us in the Lookout Gallery for the opening reception of Dao Zi’s “Turning Blood Into Ink.” Come browse the collection, enjoy light refreshments, and meet the artist.
This collection of ink wash paintings by the eminent Chinese artist, poet, and critic, Dao Zi, is an extraordinary meeting of East and West. Combining the distinctive and deeply rooted Chinese technique of ink painting with Christian iconography, Dao Zi attempts to give shape and colour to transcendence.
The exhibition will be on from October 17–November 16, 2018.
The Lookout Gallery will host Dao Zi’s exhibit, Turning Blood into Ink, coupled with an Evening Public Lecture: “Blood & Ink: A Chinese Christian Visions for the Arts.” The lecture will be presented in Regent College Chapel at 7 pm, October 18.
