Perhaps the biggest stumbling block for belief in God is the problem of suffering. How could a God who is good, loving, and powerful allow such tremendous suffering in the world – in our lives. In this conference, Darrell Johnson explores what the Bible teaches about suffering. By journeying through the scriptures, you will hopefully be brought to a point where (some) sense could be made from the suffering in the world and its place in our lives.

Darrell has been communicating the gospel since 1970, and is the author of six books: Who Is Jesus (Regent College Publishing, 2011), The Glory of Preaching: Participating in God’s Transformation of the World (IVP Academic, 2009), It is Finished (Regent College Publishing, 2008), Fifty-Seven Words that Change the World: A Journey Through the Lord’s Prayer (Regent College Publishing, 2005), Discipleship on the Edge: An Expository Journey through the Book of Revelation (Regent College Publishing, 2004), and Experiencing the Trinity (Regent College Publishing, 2002).
