DivorceCare (DC) – 11 Thursday evenings, 6:30-8:30 pm, February 22nd to May 10th. If you are divorced, separated, or thinking of separating. DC is a support group for those going through the trauma of divorce. The course has three components: video, discussion, and some home study. Topics include anger, loneliness, depression, finances and many more. Registration fee is $35 which includes a workbook and handouts.
Same dates and times as above, DC4K (DivorceCare for Kids) – held in a different meeting room. When parents are divorcing, they are often so wound up in their own emotions and pain not realizing how deeply their children are suffering. DC4K is a safe, fun place where children learn skills that will help them heal. DC4K groups blend games, music, stories, videos and discussion to help kids process the divorce and move forward. For children aged 5-12. Registration fee is $35 per family and includes one workbook, additional workbooks are available at cost.
