Langham Partnership’s International Director Dr Riad Kassis will be visiting Abbotsford on November 19.
Riad has spent a lifetime in global theological education, as a Langham Scholar, former director with Overseas Council, ICETE (International Council for Evangelical Theological Education) and since 2012, with Langham Partnership. He lives in Lebanon, where he is still adjunct faculty at Arab Baptist Theological Seminary, Beirut.
Langham Canada has had a strong presence in Vancouver for decades. Our founder John Stott came for many years to teach summer courses at Regent College, Riad himself is a Regent alumnus, and over the years, numerous Regent faculty have served on the Canadian board.
You are invited to join Fraser Valley pastors and church leaders who will be meeting at Columbia Bible College on Tuesday, November 19 at 1:00. Riad will be hosted by Columbia Bible College and MB Seminary.
He will be speaking about challenges and opportunities today in Majority World theological education. Riad will also lead a Q&A time about the current situation facing Christians in the Middle East.
We look forward to a time of learning and connecting as a community of pastors in the Fraser Valley region. You can click on the link below to reserve a place.
