Ever wondered how your faith can impact your work, business, profession or career? Wanted to genuinely make a difference by becoming a better person, better professional or better leader?
With God’s abounding grace and guidance, we are so excited to announce that BC Christian Academy is hosting its inaugural FAITH and WORK CONFERENCE on Saturday, May 4th at the Executive Plaza Hotel in Coquitlam.
The Faith and Work Conference is an all-day event from 9 am to 4 pm. Our goal is to bring people together from within and outside our school community to hear from each one of our five highly-esteemed speakers who can share about their journey, opportunities, challenges, and strategies for following Christ and putting Him first in their career, business and in the marketplace. We know that by hosting a forum like this, many people from all walks of life will gain much on learning “How to Integrate Faith Into Their Daily Grind.” Furthermore, we also hope to give our attendees and delegates an opportunity to know our school, BC Christian Academy—its mission, programs, and vision for the future. As we work to expand our high school program by launching a new business curriculum stream for our high school students next school year, we hope to enable our students to gain and develop strong business skills with rich content, biblical teaching, practical advice and mentoring from seasoned Christian business leaders in the community. Furthermore, through this conference, we are not only able to raise awareness, but also funds and donations towards our school.
God has given us an exciting roster of TRUSTED MARKETPLACE LEADERS and INSPIRATIONAL SPEAKERS at our Faith and Work Conference that include:
- Marketplace Mentor and Regent College Professor Emeritus R. Paul Stevens
- Darvonda Nurseries & Glow Gardens Co-Founder Tamara Jansen
- West Vancouver District Councillor and Aurus Athletica CEO Marcus Wong
- Easy Daysies Founder and Dragon’s Den Winner Elaine Tan- Comeau
- LeaderImpact (Power to Change Division) Vancouver Director Russel Swaim
We are expecting an audience of more than 200 people that will include, but is not limited to Business Professionals, Managers & Executives, Emerging Leaders, Pastors & Church Leaders, BCCA High School Students, our Alumni and parents.
