Free Afternoon at the Movies!
Join us at Collingwood Neighbourhood House, 5288 Joyce Street, Vancouver B.C. on March 30, between 1 pm and 4 pm. , in one of the greeting rooms, with free refreshments to follow (coffee and tea)
Our featured movie is the true life situation of Cambodia’s horrific sex trade.
You will have the opportunity to meet Paul Reid, one of the founders and publishers of the Renfrew Collingwood community newspaper, and Robert Edwards, a frequent contributor plus a writer of 13 books will be present. Mr. Edwards books will be available to purchase at $20.00 apiece and the total proceeds will go to children that are starving in the world.
There will be also an opportunity to see pamphlets of 20 children from Cambodia that need sponsorship through World Vision’s program, and volunteers from World Vision will be on hand to share some of their experiences and answer questions that you may have .We sincerely hope you can make time to join your friends, and our friends to help other friends.
