The Chilliwack Symphony Orchestra’s Baroque Ensemble together with Belle Voci, are pleased to announce the return of the highly celebrated presentation of George Friederich Handel’s Dixit Dominus. This beautiful setting of Psalm 110 is Handel’s earliest surviving work, written when he was just 22, and has a unique character amongst all of his compositions, which we will perform on period instruments, in the style of our celebrated Messiah.
Come enjoy the high-energy, spirited rendition of Handel’s most stylistically unique work, presented September 29, at Good Shepherd Church in Surrey; and September 30, at Holy Rosary Cathedral in Vancouver.
