Join us for a free, ecumenical retreat on the UBC campus to explore how Christian witnessing communities are finding new rhythms for gathering and worship in our post-Christian landscape.

At this retreat you will learn from local church leaders who are experimenting with alternate worship rhythms and gathering in diverse spaces and places. Join with others in conversation about shaking up the rhythms of gatherings and worship, and take time to reflect on how God might be calling you to experiment with new rhythms in your context.

This retreat is for pastors, church leaders, students or anyone who is curious about innovation in the church.

Cultivate: Missional Church Planting Collective is an initiative of the Centre for Missional Leadership. The Cultivate Collective seeks to convene conversations around church planting and equip leaders for starting and sustaining new communities.

The Cultivate Collective hosts a series of Imagination Retreats during the year. Through discussions, scripture study and reflection, we hope that participants will catch a glimpse of how God is inviting them to engage in their own context. By hearing the stories of other communities, we hope that you will imagine the future of God’s church.
