This one day seminar is for all volunteers, parents, and paid staff who are involved with children and family ministries in their local church. Carey Institute and the CBWC Children and Family Missional Network invite you to join them for an important day of resourcing, encouragement, and networking.
Research indicates that close to 50% of Christian kids walk away from their churches and their faith when they leave high school. As parents and partners (faith community) we can help children discover and grow a deep and meaningful faith that will last a lifetime. Deuteronomy 6 implores us to love God fully, to remember His commands, and to impress them upon our children as we walk through life together so that they will put their trust in God.
In this seminar we will consider the ancient words of the Shema and discover effective ways to nurture faith for a lifetime in our kids as we parent and partner together. Our goal is not simply morality for our kids, but rather holiness; seeing our children become faithful followers of Christ who reflect his character and have an impact for the Kingdom throughout their lives.
