Jesus came to redeem! And as believers, many of us have heard the call to follow Him and play a part in His redemption of the world.
But how do we become doers of the Word? And what is that specific area of brokenness that He’s given us a heart for?
On Saturday, August 28, join us on a one-day deep dive into the cause against human trafficking in partnership with Ratanak International and SA Foundation.
For one holy and Spirit-filled day, we will be invited to learn about the issue of human trafficking and sexual exploitation from a macroscopic perspective, understand the devastating impacts locally and globally, and hear testimonies of God’s work in Cambodia.
We will also embark on an intimate and personal journey in her shoes, where SA Foundation will lead us through their signature immersive tour called Her Journey.
Throughout the day, we will allow space to dialogue with one another, reflect, and hear the Holy Spirit leading us to consider what Jesus is asking of us personally.
Our rough itinerary for the day is:
- Session 1: What is human trafficking?
- Session 2: What is Ratanak doing in response?
- Session 3: Testimonies, Q&A, personal reflection time
- Lunch – A special Food Storytelling Event
- Session 4: What’s it like to walk in her shoes?
- Session 5: SA Foundation’s Her Journey tour
- Corporate Worship & Prayer
Ratanak Speakers: Brian McConaghy, Catherine Torres, and Darrell Mills
SA Foundation Speakers: Abi McKillop, and Theo Lodder
