Join us for this half-day retreat on prayer and reflection based on the eight virtues important to work and their transformative effect on the personal and professional lives of adult men and women – wisdom, integrity, honesty, compassion, justice, forgiveness, generosity, and courage.
Guided by Max Oliva, SJ, former businessman in sales for US Products, soldier, author of 7 books, academic – a lecturer on ethics at college campuses. He holds degrees in Marketing BA from Santa Clara University and a MBA from Berkley, has worked with oil and gas executives for 10 years in Calgary, including experience on an Alberta native reservation, and pioneered the Commuter retreat for busy professionals. Belonging to the Jesuit order, he currently resides in Las Vegas and is focused on his ministry in Ethics in the Marketplace. Two of his books will be available for purchase – Beatitudes for the Workplace and The 10 Commandments for Everyday Life
