‘Before Is Now’ is a contemporary dance work that explores the losses and forgetting of a younger self. Produced and conceptualised by Mirror Grad student, Shaneen LaValley, ‘Before Is Now’ examines restraints in adulthood arising from the past, and the discomfort in looking at them. The show features guest dancers Sarah Cortes and Joanna Anderson, as well as the artistic visual talents of Michaela Sumpter, and musical talents of Pedro Mota.
