More than Myth?: A discussion of topics introducing the new book with the same title
Robert Stackpole – “Did Adam and Eve Really Exist?: The case for the historical Adam”
Time: 7:30 – 9:30 pm
Location: Auditorium, Northwest Building
The discussion of biology, creation, and evolution with implications for our Christian faith is often dominated by certain voices that seem to follow one of two widely divergent systems of thought. We think the answer may be somewhere in the middle, but not just somewhere in the middle. The issues demand faithfulness to historic Christian foundations and new ways of thinking – new categories and different conceptions in science. This event on Science and Christian Faith discusses topics raised in the recent book edited by Robert Stackpole and Paul Brown: More than Myth? Seeking the full truth about Genesis, creation, and evolution. There will be talks by Paul Brown (Professor, TWU) on Thursday and Robert Stackpole (formerly Professor at RPC, currently The St. Terese Institute) on Friday. Both evenings include a panel after the talk for further discussion featuring distinguished guests and book contributors: Ann Gauger (Biologic Institute), Casey Luskin (Discovery Institute), and Fr. Michael Chaberek (Thomas Aquinas College).
Sponsored by TWU Science and Christian Faith (NATS), Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences. For more information contact Paul Brown at [email protected].
