Join us for an evening of music and celebration in the unique and historic Pinder Hall. Housed in the newly renovated First Baptist Church building in downtown Vancouver, Pinder Hall is a treat for the senses. This limited seating event brings you up close with the music while also engaging with each other. There will be coffee, drinks and cookies to go along with the evening.
This event is not just about music and coffee; it’s also a fundraiser for Jacob’s Well, a “living room space” in Vancouver’s DTES.
What is Jacob’s Well? It is a place where community members gather to give and receive friendship and support. It is where friends become family. We come together to celebrate the good and lament the bad. At Jacob’s Well we support each other as we laugh and cry.
Jacob’s Well is a faith based non profit. We welcome all who come to our door. There is room for everyone at our table. Jacob’s Well is a small place, making big differences, in our community member’s lives.
Who is playing?
Known as the Prairie Quartet, Kira Fondse, Brendyn Dyck, Ben Feikema & Louise Cooke. Expect eclectic folk tunes with a few fun surprises long the way!
Staying true to our friendship with First Baptist and their commitment to extending the welcome at the table, the band will be joined by the talented youth of First Baptist who will be playing an opening set.
What is Door & Table?
Door and Table is a series of music and events hosted in beautiful & unique settings in Vancouver. It began as a way to help support Jacob’s Well – a DTES community nonprofit based on the simple idea of friendship and its invaluable impact on a community. At Jacob’s Well, the welcome extends past the door to a place at the table.
