The pressure of never-ending expectations on leaders can feel overwhelming. We put huge expectations on ourselves and then risk putting unreasonable expectations on others. How best do we both live responsibly with expectations and hold lightly to them?
Peter Shaw will draw from scriptural insights and his experience of coaching senior leaders and teams across 6 Continents. Each participant will be given a complimentary copy of Peter’s new book ‘Living with Never-Ending Expectations’. This lecture is especially for those in leadership roles or working towards leadership roles.
Peter was a Director General in the UK Government before moving into leadership development. He is a founding partner of Praesta Partners, an international coaching firm. He has coached individuals and teams across the world, has written 26 books on leadership, and is a Visiting Professor at four UK universities.
Dr. Shaw will be teaching the course “Effective Teams” from July 23 – 27, 2018 and the course “Leading Change Well” from July 30 – August 3, 2018 as part of our 2018 Summer Programs. Learn more at rgnt.net/summer.
